Subject: Flash Vehicles On Demand Driver Mask Policy

Local and international public health organizations have recently pointed to the benefits of wearing a face mask in public as a measure to combat the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

To do our part, we're now requiring that all of our drivers wear face masks  while in a Flash vehicle. This precautionary measure helps us protect our clients, our staff and the community.

We're committed to your safety during the COVID-19 situation and the following precautions continue to be in effect for all of our vehicles:

  • Vehicle Cleaning: Our vehicle cleaning protocols to include the regular sanitization of high-touch surfaces  (door handles, arm/head rests, etc.). Drivers also wipe-down high-touch surfaces with sanitary wipes after every ride.

  • Hand Sanitizer: All vehicles with Flash drivers are equipped with hand sanitizers with a minimum 70% alcohol content for use by drivers and passengers.

  • Health Screening: We regularly screen staff for symptoms (including temperature checks). We require all staff to self-isolate at the first sign of symptoms and we support our staff during the period of isolation.

Subject: Flash Vehicles On Demand Price Increase

Effective November 11, 2019, certain prices on the Flash Vehicles On Demand service will increase.

While Flash strives to keep prices stable, generally increasing prices across Freetown (including the fuel price increase earlier this year) mean that our cost structure necessitates increasing prices to ensure we continue to provide the reliable, high quality service that our clients have come to expect.

The price increase will involve:

  • An increase from SLL 6,000 + GST to SLL 8,000 + GST per kilometer for distance-based trips.

  • An increase from SLL 20,000 to SLL 25,000 + GST per 15 minutes for time-based trips (for the first three hours of a trip, beyond which the price remains SLL 20,000 + GST per 15 minutes).

Minimum amounts (SLL 30,000 for distance-based trips and one hour for time-based trips) and trip waiting fees all remain unchanged.

Flash is committed to listening to customer feedback and regularly reviewing prices to ensure our service provides value to our customers.

We invite you to contact the Flash Customer Support team at support@flashvehicles.com should you have any questions or comments.
